Job Description

We are looking for an Elementary School Special Education Teacher to join our District. This position is to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment and to assist every student in reaching his/her fullest potential. The Special Education teacher is to provide appropriate instruction within the prescribed curriculum, act as a positive role model for students, and to fulfill the Mission of the District.

• New York State Certification, appropriate to assigned area

• Familiarity with classroom routine

• Ability to establish good relationships with children and others.
